Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We talked to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the company's success. One of the most important is the Search API, which powers results on the Search results page page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work carefully with the Artificial intelligence team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search relevance enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly team that prioritizes strong onboarding and constant support. New employee are directed through the ramp-up process up until they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each team member is helpful to other employee when dealing with difficulties. We value a culture where wins are renowned freely, and setbacks are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep sociability strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most pleased with the professional development I've achieved because signing up with Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years earlier. Throughout this journey, I've established deep domain competence, stayed up-to-date with evolving industry practices, and regularly worked with modern-day technologies. My commitment to constant knowing and effect caused my promotion to Staff Software Engineer and my function as one of the team's technical leads. Most just recently, I've taken on the responsibility of being individuals Leader for the team-an interesting next action that enables me to support others in their growth while continuing to drive technical instructions. I take pride in the reality that my long period here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to progress technically and handle greater leadership Q. What should somebody aiming to join us in #Tech understand? A. Realtor.com uses exciting technical obstacles, from large-scale information dealing with to real-time search, customization, and AI/ML integration.
